Niki Iliadis
Niki leads The Future Society’s portfolio on Global AI Governance, which includes policy engagement efforts with global intergovernmental organizations, such as the OECD, UN, and UNESCO, and overseeing the organization’s international coordination forum, The Athens Roundtable on AI and the Rule of Law. Her approach centers on transforming policy ideas into actionable recommendations and leveraging the power of convenings to promote coordination.
With eight years of experience in technology policy, Niki previously managed the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Artificial Intelligence (APPG AI) in the UK Parliament. The initiative gathered evidence on the economic and socio-ethical impact of AI, and used that to inform and influence national policy decisions. Niki is also an appointed expert to the GPAI Expert Working Group on Innovation and Commercialisation.
She holds a BSc in Political Science from UC Berkeley and an MSc in Public Management from the London School of Economics.
